An Edible and Musical Birthday Celebration for Julia Child

In August 2012 we presented An Edible and Musical Birthday Celebration for Julia Child in honor of Julia Child’s 100th birthday. The event featured performances of Lee Hoiby’s Bon Appetit (based on an episode of Child’s WGBF show ‘The French Chef’) and Leonard Bernstein’s La bonne cuisine, along with a cooking class that included some of Child’s favorite recipes.
